So I really liked Bindi's Operation Prom thing. I love getting tidbits about what you guys do eye are ell and such. So since I'm curious...
What do you all do for a living? I know Fen works at a hotel. Bindi works in the ER. Lov's a mama. But what about the rest of you?
As for me, I'm a student but I study/work in Theatre. Both onstage and off.
I joke because when I work on deck, we all have dogtags, codenames (I'm Spoons because I worked props my first show), and headsets that we all speak lingo through. And of course we're in all black, running around like crazy people with utility belts. I joke that it's the closest thing to the matrix I could probably do. Apart from the babysitting actors thing.

I am a freelance website designer(which means that I make websites for small companies or one person) and an Assistant IT Manager. I also manage 4 forums(although that is more of a hobby) and I'm writing my own one hour and a half comedy/sketch show at the moment which I hope I can bring to the stage one day.

I am a software engineer for Competitive Edge Software, Inc. We've made a few programs for larger corporations. Basically network programs that deal with security, incident reports, case reports, record keeping, and Clery reports.

I have a job with the federal government which involves pushing large piles of paper around my small office inside a really imposing building. During the school year, I also teach a graduate-level writing/research/oral advocacy course. Maeby: my B.A. is in Theater! It was mostly performance, but I loved being backstage too. The power of being a stage manager was intoxicating!

Karma for Cov!
I think I'm getting a BFA in Technical Design. I consider acting my play, and tech my work. I'd go for acting more I think if I had a better voice (because I have a major background in dance), but in my experience so far I've always made more money backstage. Yeah. Theatre FTW.

All my life I wanted to be an artist. I was very good at drawing and painting and all that, but by the time I was in high school and ready to go to the Savannah School of Art, I got seriously burnt out and dropped it. Haven't been able to do art since.
However, towards the end of high school and early college, I was very much into theatre. I was in drama club in college and was making theatre my major in college. ((We made fun of the stage crew in high school... sorry Maeby <.<))
But, then I came to my senses and realized you don't need a degree to act, so I changed majors to Hotel/Restaurant management and ended up getting a job in the field. Word.
I'm currently a financial analyst for a four star hotel, with dreams and aspirations of one day operating my own property.

I work as a Basic EMT, hopefully in August I'll go back to college and get an a Paramedic degree. I've always wanted to be in the medical field, in fact I got a degree in biology with the intentions of moving on to a Masters and Doctorate eventually. However, real life intervened and I became an executive assistant for 2 1/2 years instead. When I happened upon a basic EMT class at the local votech I jumped at the chance and I wouldn't give this up for the world.
Hopefully once I get my paramedic degree I'll do a Paramedic to RN crossover course and work as a flight medic. That's what I'm shooting for eventually anyway.

I'm an undeclared college student. I'm currently considering entering English Education or Social Studies Education, but they're both just for job options while I'd really like to get out and write books or teach on the college level. I'm really big on philosophy studies, but there's nothing you can do with that except go into law and I don't like that prospect.
I was also a Software Engineering major for three days at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana, but didn't like the atmosphere. I might still do a little something with that, I don't know.
Yeah, my life's up in the air.

I may be a mom but I keep busy other ways too! ;P
My main job is a home-office assistant for my husband's construction company. Answering phones, setting appointments, writing estimates kind of thing. I also make flyer advertisements for smaller companies, stuff that can be used in newspapers, door-to-door distribution, etc.
As far as personal pursuits, me and hubby are starting work on a few stories we've been trying to get off the ground. I'm doing a lot of concept art for them right now, and as a result I'm learning to use DAZ|Studio (the same 3D rendering program Pyraci uses for his sexy art). Ultimately, we want these stories to become games. Put simply, he's the one with the awesome imagination, and I help bring it to life.
I've still got a heavy interest in music and acting, but lately all I have time to work on in that regard is singing while I work. And no, I will not sing for you ;P

I'm a systems programmer for a company that designs and builds window manufacturing equipment. This pretty much means I make small changes to our Visual Basic and Trio programs for each new machine we're developing, and I try very hard to make the dangerous moving parts not move into each other. I'm really hoping to get into robotics eventually though, once I have the time and money to continue my education.
So yes, when the machines rebel and start a war with humanity...
you can blame me. X-D
In my free time a friend and I work on our pen-and-paper roleplaying system, but that project has sorta stalled lately.

In August, my girlfriend and I moved together so that she could get her masters in Psychology. I took a run-of-the-mill tech job to support us while she is in school. When she's out of school, we're planning on moving somewhere awesome with lots of free money for us. Actually, she's going to work, and then I'm going to finish up my schooling so that we can maek teh biiiig bucks!
Right now, though, my company hosts vehicle inventory for car dealers and prettifies it and sends it out to places like Cars.com, Vehix, AutoTrader, etc. Ad Infinitum. I'm one of those lucky few who can make customers feel like I give a damn, and I'm good with computers and all the stuff that comes along with that, but I don't want to make it my life.
I'm a musician at heart, even though I've only written four songs which I personally hate. I sing well, and I'm pretty good at guitar. I'd love to be involved in music in some fashion, even if it's just a side gig of owning and operating a studio. I haven't decided. I also enjoy writing, but haven't had a lot of inspiration. Luckily, I do seem to have a ton of ideas for QuiDormit and more stuff to write.
So for now, I'll just be kickass at programming and fixing people's stupid issues.
