Some people would tell you the same thing about the Church of Latter Day Saints (aka the Mormon faith). Popular opinion does not change the fact that some people believe in thetans and Xenu, and that said people are ridiculed on the forums, and that said ridiculing is FAR more against the rules than my stupid joke. |

Easy way to find out. Check the tax records for both the Church of the Laterday Saints and Scientology and compare them to the Catholic Church's. If there is something to compare, you have a business. If there is nothing to compare, you have yourself a bonified religion.
Easy day.
Either way, saying that talking negatively about the followers of a specific religion, AKA The Mormons, is discrimination but that speaking just as negatively about the followers of something that could be (and whose followers believe) another religion is discrimination and quite frankly ignotant.
It doesn't matter if you personally do not recognize Scientology as a religion. It's not your call to make, but rather the peoples who follow and do believe.
The Collective banned me from their website yesterday for simply calling them hypocrites. They refuse to see that just because you add your own little spin on justifying your actions or what you say, it doesn't make it true, right or correct. Anyone who shines a mirror into their faces must be a hater, a racist or dumb. All three of which they have accused me of being because I don't agree with their insanity.
Wow... all that writing and no profanity. I need to go yell at my kids for a while.
